I love snacking and being a teacher means that sometimes snack food is necessary! Sometimes I end up running around so I'm making the effort to be much better and sit down and eat, rather than on the go. I also love apples so a snack made from apples is the best!
I wanted to add some cinnamon for both flavour and for the nutrients it brings. I love that are so many different ways you can enjoy eating something and the possibility that I haven't found my favourite yet.

Did you know...
Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants (1), flavanoids, and dietary fiber. A 2006 study published in the journal Experimental Biology and Medicine found that quercetin (one of the antioxidants found abundantly in apples) was one of two compounds that helped to reduce cellular death that is caused by oxidation and inflammation of neurons.
