Apple and carrot juice

Updated: May 5, 2019

This is such a simple yet tasty juice to make and can be basis of many different recipes. Even the kiddies like this one!

Serves: 1

Time to prepare: 15 minutes

Ingredients...

  • 3 medium apples (4 small ones)

  • 4 carrots*

How to Create...

  • Slice the carrots and apples into chunks that fit your juicer (mine handles apples when they've been quartered).

  • Put the apples and carrots into a juicer and watch the orangey goodness pour out.

Drink and enjoy.

Some days I prefer mine sweeter so I can l find myself adding an extra apple to the mix. To add a bit of spice, add some ginger. Top tip, remove the apple pips before juicing so you can use the pulp to make crackers.

Happy juicing,

Emmy x

This recipe is plant based, gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free, vegan and is full of wholesome goodness. All the ingredients I use I try to use organic, local and fair trade where possible and necessary but it’s up to you to choose what you want to use.

Did you know...

* Juicing a carrot can give it the highest concentration of beta-carotene which may promote eye health. Carrots may aid digestion, help weight control and aid healthy skin and nails (1).
